The soul knows

From survival to Soul

The ego has only one function: to help us detect danger and protect us from feeling pain. Its role has always been about survival—once upon a time, it helped us avoid being eaten by lions and help us to gather food so we wouldn’t starve.

But the brain hasn’t quite understood that we no longer live in those times. Today, it still operates from that ancient survival mode. Most of us are still deeply afraid of not having enough, especially when it comes to money. This is a deeply ingrained mechanism that has been passed down through generations.

So the brain is constantly working to ensure we don’t go bankrupt, that we have enough for tomorrow, even if we already do. It plans and projects into the future to avoid any possibility of lack or danger. And because of that, it becomes incredibly difficult for us to live in the present moment.

And this is exactly what prevents us from truly experiencing life and hearing the voice of the soul.

The soul doesn’t plan. The soul is love. The soul simply experiences the beauty of life as it unfolds. When we are more connected to the soul than to the mind, we become aligned with life itself. In that alignment, we no longer need protection in the same way—we begin to trust our intuition, and what we truly need comes to us naturally.

When we stop being wired just to the ego, we step out of the survival programming that has told us we always need to be on guard. And in that space, we return to trust. We return to life and to us self.
